The winding lanes of the Mont-Saint-Michel countryside lead to one of the most magnificient gardens in twenty-first century France.
The first garden, from the Italian mannerist style, created by the architect Paul Maymont, lead us to the discovery of thirteen greening rooms (bosquet attrape, open air theatre, labyrinth…).
At the end of the lime tree path, the "jardin à la française" created by François-Hébert Stevens comes after in perfect harmony with the south facade of the château Louis XIII in golden granite.
Topiary Art and contemporary statues are combined in great harmony.
Jardins Monument Historique, label Jardin Remarquable and Label Qualité Tourisme. It is a garden managed by respecting the environnement and biodiversity.
Innovations : Instructive tour brochure for children ( 6-8 years et 9-11 years) in french and in english. A must-see : Remarkable historic model in the 1/200th of gardens and Château de la Ballue.
